The Bromeliad Society of Central Florida (BSCF) has a number of activities: monthly meetings with speakers, field trips to members' gardens, plant sales, judged plant shows, and more!
The BSCF is a member of the Florida Council of Bromeliad Societies. Check out their website (which includes Bromeliad photo databases and lots of other information) and Facebook page (which includes information on Bromeliad events throughout Florida).

The World Bromeliad Conference (WBC 2020) will be in Sarasota, Florida, from June 10-13, 2020. For more information, just go to BSI.org and click on the WBC menu. To register for WBC 2020, you must become a BSI member if you are not already one.
To get the lowest WBC registration fee, you need to register for the conference by January 31, 2020. If you are not already a member of the BSI, there is now a new rate of only $15 for a First-Time Member Electronic Only membership (or $35 if you prefer to receive the printed BSI Journal which is mailed locally from Lake Mary, FL).
